Shark Life
Peter Benchly
Adventure Documentary
The setting of the book mainly takes place in the ocean many times in southern Australia.
This book has one main character the author Peter Benchly. The main conflicts obviously include getting attacked by sharks all the time. The theme of the book is to inform others about shark encounters.

I would recommend this book because it is very interesting it has a lot of action that will keep the paper in your hands. While also having action it is also very informative. Anyone who wants to swim in the ocean or go to the beach should read this book. When i finished this book it made me feel smart. If it was a life or death situation and i was asked to rate this book i would rate it a 4.5 out of 5 its good stuff.

Some parts in this book that are realistic are when Peter met a great white for the first time. He was in a cage the shark approached and ate the bait but on accident bit the cable connecting the cage to the boat. The beast was thrashing shaking and spinning all over the place eventually the shark let go. I know this is realistic because he has a picture of this action. What is unrealistic is when he says he and a buddy were diving and saw a juvenile great white. He explained that he approached the young shark head on. This is unrealistic because juvenile's do not know right from wrong and would have attacked him right away.
